the new me

single.... i am single... i have been single for 2 days now... its a very strange feeling... what happened between johnny and i is personal... but when you know something just isn't quite right you know.... i dont know if its the long distance that killed us, jealousy, or if it just wasnt meant to be and it was our wishful thinking and feelings for each other that kept us together for so long.... but dont get me wrong i love him and he was my best friend in the world for a year we had plans for the future and now my canvas is clear.... its a strange feeling not knowing where ill be... what will happen... or who i might meet... i know johnny is an amazing person and he treated me so well but like i said something made us grow farther apart... so far that there was no turning back

new hair.... i needed a change.... i have had the same hair color cut and style for 8 years now.... it was time for something new.... and i did it just at the right time.... a new chapter of my life, a new page turned, and a new cover deserved.

wiser.... i am wiser then i once was... i have experienced more in the last year then i have ever before.... its wisdom that i am grateful for.... wisdom i will use throughout my life.... and wisdom that has shaped me.

older.... i am one year older... 20

smarter... not only have i been informally educated and filled with wisdom... but i have been formally educated... one semester down and five to go... i am politically correct from sociology... more consciously psychological in my own thoughts... and i have refreshed my math skills... all of these things have made me smarter and i feel my brian soaking everything in with life day after day... and its a wonderful feeling.

i just finished my first semester of nursing school! A's across the board! my parents are so proud and i couldn't be any happier with my GPA!

for my birthday we went to dinner and i specifically wanted macayos! and i couldnt just have any cake.... so my mom made me a home made ice cream cake! it was delicious! we all loved it and it was a total hit! johnny even stepped up his game that night and bought a new shirt just for the night... :)

The BEST birthday gift EVER!

on the 30th rachel and miles surprised me with 2 little mice!

this whole mouse thing started months ago! i had a mouse when i was a little girl... his name was raisin and he was the sweetest thing in the world....he loved being held and even let me give him baths.... one day he just disappeared! my mom says my dad took him to the vet (you see he had mites so he always had little scabs and) to get some medicine for his mites and the doc said there was nothing they could do so they out him to sleep..... my dad has never heard or done such a thing.... he has no idea what im talking about when i mention anything about vets and raisin.... sad story i know...

so ive been talking about mice for probably 4 months now and since i never really ask for anything on my birthday... presents are a very hard thing to buy for me.... my mom and my sister came up with this beautiful plan to split the cost and buy me some mouseys!

rachel and miles came walking in with a little card board box with handles.... anyone who has bought a creature form a pet store knows what those little boxes look like and i started freaking out.... i just so happened to be on the phone with johnny and i said while crying "oh my gosh.... im crying.... i have to go.... rachel and miles bought me a mouse!" we immediately put the their little cage together and got them settled in and named them.

BUT SHHHHH.... MY DAD DOESNT KNOW! ITS BEEN ABOUT A WEEK AND ITS STILL A SECRET!

We of course carved pumpkins this year! We had a great time and it was a wonderful family night!

Even though they are spelled and pronounced differently they all mean the same thing.... love.

Love is a cocktail of emotions.... and everyones drink is different.... but the out come is the same. I call it drunkin love!

Love is unstoppable.... You will love whom ever you wish to love because it is your hearts desire. There is no emotion stronger than love and that is why it is unstoppable. No one can keep you from falling in love, and no one can keep you from falling out of love....

babies babies babies!

babies are a beautiful thing and me and my mom and sis had the opportunity to go to chelsea hodson/allred's baby shower! we had a blast! i love and miss her family cuz they are like family and childhood friends to me! we all have grown up and its not often i get to see them but when i do we def make up for it! we had such a good time and the place looked amazing! they did such a good job making it fluent and functional!

sometimes showers can be so awkward but hers was so nice and she had tons of people there and everyone was talking so it made things feel so comfortable and casual... unlike sometimes when the mother to be or bride to be feel so weird and embarrassed having all eyes on them... i really enjoyed it and was so glad to be invited!

mommy's birthday! 9-24-09

for my moms birthday me and rachel came up with the genius idea to by her a fish tank! not any fish tank but i biorb! i highly recommend them! easy low maintenance and so cute! we ended up spending a little over 60 bucks for everything (30 each perfectly reasonable)! that night after she got home from work we went to fat burger! delicious of course! my dad had bought her some beautiful roses we admired the night before from the grocery store, and julie benson made her a delicious chocolate bundt cake! me and parker also bought her a big cupcake and some ice cream! we had quite the dessert feast that night!
